Giancarlo Esposito denies a popular theory about Far Cry 6

When Far Cry 6 was revealed last year during a Ubisoft Forward , the community began to theorize about the true identity of diego , son of the villain Antón Castillo , Who will be interpreted by Giancarlo Esposito. Well, during a recent video, Esposito was given to the task of answering several questions from the fans, and taking advantage of the occasion, it was also responsible for denying the previously mentioned theory.

The theory in question suggested that Diego was actually vaas , iconic antagonist of Far Cry 3 , but obviously as a young man. This idea began to earn a lot of traction, and interestingly, ubisoft never wanted to comment anything about it, so it was Esposito who denied her.

In the video above we can see the actor open several letters that sent him the fans, and in one of them he took the opportunity to address the subject about Diego and Vaas:

What an absurd idea. Compare the future president of Yara to any criminal. That man seems to be removed from a failed boy Band Band. Diego, on the other hand, has grace, class, and strength, and intelligence. Everything you need. He is a villain under construction. You ll see.

Although it seems that Diego is not really vaas , he certainly paints that he could become the future antagonist of the following Far Cry, or maybe we see it as a villain in some DLC.

Far Cry 6 will debut the next October 7 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC.
