Pro Evolution Soccer, alongside the FIFA franchise, are the two essentials football simulators in the video game industry. In July, Konami announced that Pro Evotion Soccer would become efootball and would be free to play. It would also go out on the next generation consoles with a ton of new capabilities and technologies. The warning signs were there from the beginning and when leaving, most came to the conclusion that the game was a mess. In the disappointment of many faithful fans, the exit of Konami simply did not reach the expected standards. As a result, via the official Twitter of Efootball, the company has published a declaration of excuse.
In its statement, the Company noted comments and criticism received as a result of its disastrous launch on issues such as defense operations, pass speed, kinematics, facial expressions, balloon behavior, etc. This continued as the company exclaimed for the problems and promised to continue to make improvements, including consistent content. It should be noted that there is a potential update to come in October, based on comments and potential information later.
Efootball gave football fans of the memes on the internet, because strange graphics, which go against the history of the series, have led to pretty fun interpretations of players.
Efootball 2022 is available for free on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PC via Steam and mobile devices. The game offered multiplatform capabilities on all devices and promised advanced graphics and gameplay on the latest new generation consoles. Although free, the game offers packs of microtransactions and other contents that players can buy. Unfortunately, it seems that Konami has failed to deliver.
