The European Football Union (UEFA) responded with partly sensitive fines in violations of nine clubs against financial rules.
The Greek Lace Association AEK Athens must pay 1,5 million euros penalty after a comparison. Thus, the UEFA Financial Control Center in its decision suspected that the twelve Greek champion did not comply with various requirements for licensing and Financial Airplay. In addition, ten percent of the prize money will be retained, which the club achieves its participation in the next European competition.
250,000 euros each must pay both the Dortmund er Champions League opponent Greek Laceing Lisbon and Real Bets Seville. The Portuguese royal class participant FC Porto was punished with 300,000 euros. The three clubs have according to UEFA information as well as FC Astana (Kazakhstan / 150,000 euros), CFR 1907 Club (Romania / 200,000 euros), SKA Sofia (Bulgaria / 75,000 Euro), CD Santa Clara (Portugal / 75,000 euros) and Mons Cape SC (Gibraltar / 15,000 euros) Undue liabilities not degraded in due time.
Excluding Club and Astana, all clubs of the exclusion of Europa cup competitions were threatened if they do not demonstrate the payment of liabilities by 31 January 2022.
